It started back in 1988/1989 when Ralf Weydt was an exchange student in Solon, Ohio visiting from Berlin, Germany.  He stayed with the Hagestrom Family for a year and made quite an impression.  Far too many years passed and Ralf returned to the United States with his beautiful family for a brief reunion in Carolina Beach, NC in the Summer of 2015.  The Hagestrom Family (Duke, Tracee, Sam, and Hana) said goodbye, but the opportunity has come for us to visit the Weydt Family on their native soil – so Germany, here we come!
